Street Teams
This video tells the story of young woman who found herself in trouble after a night out in the city.
After leaving a night club, her boyfriend became aggressive and when she tried to call for help he took her phone. Noticing this young person in trouble, The Salvation Army Street Team was able to intervene, stay with her until the police came and ensure she was able to get home safely.
She later wrote an email to the Salvos to say thank for this support – the script from this video is directly taken from her email (with her permission) to help share this story with the community.
